its been a while!!!
oh man!! a breath of fresh air!!! fall break starts for me in a little over and hour and I CAN’T WAIT!!! its been insane the past couple weeks, so the breaks gonna be nice. i had a breakthrough in physics the other day… i still don’t understand it at all, but my teacher was doing a demonstartion of oscillations and he said that the gravity was interacting with the tension in the string holding the washer making it swing back and forth and there was just something very beautiful about that to me, things being in constant interaction with each other in the world God made. a few weeks ago we had a lecture on color and how its not really there, its not an inherent propertiy of anything, its just the light on it BUT, i was thinking, we’re surrounded by color, its how we identify things and recognize them…. but its not a solid thing thats really there its just, its what we see, but not… reality?? and i was thinking about how we’re in this world surrounded by all these physical things - buildings, rocks, mountains, cars - and its what we see, but there’s so much behind that, its like we’re in this world floating around thinking we know whats going on when really… theres this thing behind it all, this Light that is really making it all appear and causing things to constantly interact with each other…. i don’t know, like we’re in abox and totally can’t see the beauty laid within it all until its revealed by light. hmm… it makes complete sense to me but anytime i try to explain it i do’nt know that it conveys the right thing. theres just so much more, and its amazing to me that there are so many things naturally around us pointing us back to the reality of our Creator and who He is….. like color and gravity interacting with a string. 
and that God uses those things, just like in luke He simply used a fisherman, unable to catch any, and enabling him to… to show His glory. He meets us where we are to show us Himself. THAT is wonderful.
